Here at DP Support we believe it is important to involve those we support in designing their own service to ensure it is tailor-made for them, so individuals can take control of their own lives.
Our service is about much more than providing people with support. We aim to support people to achieve their own goals and aspirations each day. It's about enabling individuals to meet and exceed their potential.

Our Ethos
DP Support delivers the highest quality of service based on the ethos of 'doing with, not for' therefore maintaining, as much as possible, each individual's independence and encouraging their rights of choice in every aspect of their lives.
Our service is adapted to meet and exceed each individual's expectations of the support they receive. Each service is tailor made and flexible to meet your needs and the needs of all people using our service. The service will be caring and nurturing with support delivered by a highly trained team of staff. We work to support each individual in a person-centred approach whilst working alongside families, advocates and other agencies to support them to achieve their goals and aspirations, with creative solutions and participation.
A well established management structure and sturdy on-call system ensure that our service is responsive to any situation. All of our clients have the right to, and will be treated with, the utmost dignity and respect at all times and their safety is paramount and our main priority.
Individuals agreeing to use DP Support as their care provider can expect the highest quality of support at the level in which they require and within line of their own personal preferences.
Our Mission
Our mission and values are simple, DP Support strives to deliver exceptional and affordable care and community, incorporating social experiences to individuals and families on the Fylde coast. Additionally, to promote a mutual respects amongst all who commission and rely on our services.
Here at DP Support, our goal is to employ caring, compassionate, competent and well-trained staff members who are responsive to the needs of each individual we support, their families and the communities we serve. Each member of staff will be required to meet the training requirements for the services they provide, we do also encourage and support continued education for all our staff members. In return, our company will provide them with competitive remuneration, a positive and inviting work environment, and a knowledgeable, driven and trustworthy management team.
Our Company
DP Support offers a tailored person-centred domiciliary support service. Our aim is to be the care provider of choice in Lancashire. At DP Support, we are committed to supporting individuals in the most appropriate and compassionate way, this may include but not limited to your health, your medication and your preferences around how these issues are carried out.
We believe that the domiciliary and supported living services bases within Lancashire, are predominantly corporate led. This can lead to the choices and needs of the individuals using these services being limited by the constraint of these organisations. These agencies are, therefore, unable to provide these individuals with a unique and personalised service which DP Support are providing. Research indicates that there is a significant need for a quality support service with in the area, we believe that by employing competent and well-trained members of staff, whilst providing them with an organised, trustworthy and responsive management alongside excellent training, we can become the care provider of choice.
We provide this personalised service by becoming your 'Personal Assistant' Company, all the benefits of having an appointed PA whilst also having the back up of a company behind them. We ensure your loved one will have a small team of experienced and qualified support workers supporting them on a rota basis. This allows us to provide cover for rest days/holidays, but you will have an elected team of individual support workers who you will know and trust to come into your family home and care for your loved one.
